EXL Acumen is an annual case study contest for the Management students of India’s Top B-Schools with analytics and consulting vigor. The inaugural edition of the competition was launched in the year 2012 across 2 IIMs (IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta) and witnessed an overwhelming response from the students. In the last 8 editions of EXL Acumen, IIM Calcutta has emerged as the winner twice (2012 & 2013) while IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kozhikode took the honors in 2016 and 2017 edition respectively. IIFT won the EXL Acumen in 2020, while in 2021 NMIMS were the winners.

In its 11th edition, EXL Acumen 2022, now open across Top 5 IIMs (IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow and Kozhikode), FMS, ISB, IIFT, MDI, NMIMS, IMT Ghaziabad, XLRI, IITD DMS and IITB SJMSOMS, is structured to test skills like problem identification, logical thinking, structured and methodological approach amongst its participants.
