Register as a new user on the website itself by giving some basic information like name, college name and email-id. Registration is mandatory for participation.
3rd year students enrolled in B.Tech/B.E program,4th year dual degree students (integrated 5-year courses) and 1st year students enrolled in M.Sc (2 yr) program of Delhi University are eligible for participation.
Students must participate in a team size of two, students from different streams/departments are allowed to form a team. Both members must be from the same campus.
Individual participation is not allowed, you must participate in a team size of two.
Case studies are designed to check a student’s analytical thinking capability. They can even be solved on simple tools like excel for which hints and several web based tutorials are available for guidance. If enough time is spent, the case study should be a great learning experience and solvable even for somebody with no or minimal analytics experience.
No, we request teams to come up with only one best solution for the case study.
For the first round, Excel submissions should be done in the provided template only. Teams which qualify for round 2 need to submit their Powerpoint presentations, preferably in PDF. Presentations must be limited to a maximum of 6 slides and they must contain – Understanding of the business problem, Data treatment, Methodology and Visual output.
Data (excel file) will be available for download from 7th April for registered teams along with a detailed docket containing solution template and a document explaining the case.
For round 1, teams will be judged on accuracy of the output (in the provided solutions template) For other rounds, the criteria is –
Case Understanding : Understanding the problem statement and attention to detail
Analytical Approach : Approach towards solving the problem
Visualization : Visual representation of key findings, analysis and results
Quality : Overall quality of the analyses with business understanding & deliverable quality

The final shortlisted teams will be invited to present their solutions to the panel of judges at EXL office in Gurgaon.
